Professional Artist, Landscape Architect, Ski Instructor and Open Water Scuba Instructor, Lisa Caplan is a modern-day Renaissance woman. Lisa celebrates her affinity for the natural world through her dedication to each of these crafts: art-making, placemaking, skiing and diving/underwater videography.
The Artist
Lisa Caplan earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from Boston University College for the Arts. Early training in figurative drawing, sculpture and painting directly from life inform Lisa’s contemporary work. Caplan’s abstract paintings are inspired by living form, the architecture of nature, the concept of color as energy vibration, along with her meditation practice and travel experience.
